One of the biggest dates in the South Cheshire rural calendar returns this summer as Betley's BIG Weekend combines three days of entertainment, agriculture, motors and live music.

Now in its 168th year, Betley Show is one of Cheshire's oldest agricultural shows, continuing a tradition that dates back to 1858.

The weekend begins on Friday 31 July with Friday Night on the Pull, featuring thrilling tractor pulling action, live music, a funfair, food vendors and a licensed bar.

On Saturday 1 August, the historic Betley Show takes centre stage. Visitors can enjoy traditional livestock competitions, horse and pony classes, horticulture and home produce displays, vintage machinery, trade stands, family attractions and countryside demonstrations, alongside a full programme in the main ring.

The festival concludes on Sunday 2 August with Super Sunday – Music, Motors and More, celebrating classic vehicles, live entertainment and family attractions in a relaxed festival atmosphere.

Live music across the weekend includes performances from Legends of Sound, The Baker Street Belles, The Vinylettes, Bobcat Billy's Moonshine Mission, The Pronounced, The VBs and ACRYLiC, with a DJ set from HitMix 107.5FM on Saturday evening.

Weekend camping is available, with food, drink and entertainment running throughout the event.

Friday: Adults £5, under-15s and dogs free (gates open 6pm)
Saturday: Adults £10, under-15s £5, under-3s and dogs free (gates open 10am)
Sunday: Adults and under-15s £5, under-3s and dogs free (gates open 11am)
