A stretch of the A529 Audlem Road was temporarily closed on Tuesday afternoon (20 October) after a car collided with a hedge near Corbrook.
Cheshire Police confirmed that officers were called to reports of a single-vehicle collision at around 4.30pm.
The vehicle, described by police as a grey Hyundai, had left the road and collided with a hedge.
Paramedics attended and checked the driver, but no serious injuries were reported.
The incident caused traffic delays on the A529 heading towards Audlem, particularly near Corbrook Care Home, where motorists reported a vehicle obstructing the road.
At around 5.50pm, drivers were experiencing long delays, with some turning around to find alternative routes.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "The road was closed while recovery work was undertaken."
Police confirmed that the scene had been cleared by 6pm and the road reopened.
