A white Ford Transit containing all of its owner’s work tools has been stolen from a property in Hatherton, near Nantwich.

The theft happened on Birchall Moss Lane between 8.45pm on 28 August and 7.45am on 29 August, according to a police neighbourhood alert.

PCSO Nick Jarvis, of Crewe Local Policing Unit, urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.

Police advised owners to remove valuable items and power tools from vehicles overnight and store them securely. Other precautions include vehicle alarms, security lighting and CCTV.

Residents were also advised to keep keys out of sight and away from doors and windows, and to store keyless-entry keys in a signal-blocking pouch.

Anyone with information can contact Cheshire Police on 101 or report it through the force’s website.
